Description: Yataro Sarumaru, nicknamed "Saru", is an average high school boy who daydreams about idols but otherwise has no luck with girls. While working with his father, a locksmith in Asakusa, Tokyo, he has gained exceptional skills to pick just about any lock. Using his exceptional skills, Yataro then finds himself solving various mysterious cases, while also trying his luck with the girls.
Notes: The current team that was scanlating Saru Lock (Death Toll) has been stalled on it for 4 years due to a desperate need of experienced redrawers for the manga and redrawers in general. Saru Lock is one of harder series to redraw for. Without redrawers the translator for the manga likely won’t be interested in coming back and finishing the Scanlation. “Whoever feels like applying should first take a good luck at the released SL chapters and think long and hard whether they can redraw that kind of art.” (Admin of DT Scans).
